OUR GOAL
Our goal is to document a critical moment in American history through an episodic series of short films that express the despair, fear, and horror of the January 6th riot on the U.S. Capitol.
From documentary-style narratives to horror-themed suspense films, we aim to make sure viewers see, hear, feel, and fully understand the horror that unfolded that day.
Together, we can make sure that what happened on January 6th will not pass by without accurately documenting history. With your support to reach our $35,000 goal, we will distribute an episodic series of short films to make sure the horror of January 6th, 2021 never happens again.
THE STORY
On January 6th, 2021, a violent mob of rioters from across the country descended on our nation’s Capitol building while members of Congress were convening to certify the 2020 presidential results. Their goal was to overturn the results of the election by disrupting the joint session of Congress.
Rioters assaulted law enforcement officers, vandalized and looted offices, stole confidential documents, and occupied the Capitol for several hours while members of Congress remained hidden in evacuation rooms.
5 people lost their lives. Hundreds more were injured, including 138 police officers.

Voters and citizens across party lines fear the resulting effects of the day and how they could impact the future of our nation.
